Alliott EMEA 2018 Regional Conference Prague

From 9 to 11 May 2018 the EMEA Conference of Alliott took place in Prague. This year the general topic of the conference was: “Building A Future-Proof Professional Firm”. More than 90 attorneys and tax advisors from 31 countries participated in this conference. BMA was represented by Dr. Jürgen Brandstätter.
One of the items on the agenda at the Conference was the presentation of the main content of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, which came into force on 25 May 2018 across Europe, and the challenges it poses to law firms and tax consultants as well as for their respective clients. Together with Jackie Hendley from the English tax adviser Smith Cooper, Dr. Jürgen Brandstätter gave a lecture about this item on the agenda of the Conference.
Another focus of the Conference was the presentation of recent changes in the US tax system by colleagues from the USA.
