BMA named “Best Law Firm in Austria for Banking & Finance Law 2009”

We have the great pleasure to announce that BMA Brandstätter Rechtsanwälte GmbH has been awarded this year’s Practice Excellence Award for Banking & Finance in Austria by the prestigious Corporate INTL Magazine and has been named “Best Law Firm in Austria for Banking & Finance Law 2009”.

This award is given as part of the International Legal Awards for Practice Excellence 2009 and will be presented in the December 2009 issue of Corporate INTL Magazine.

The winner was chosen by a panel of judges, which includes senior partners of an internationally recognized law firm and an internationally recognized accounting firm, the CEO of a multinational corporation and the editor of Corporate INTL Magazine.

We have been the first Austrian law firm that has for renowned clients filed motions to the Austrian Financial Markets Authority (FMA) to grant concessions according to the Austrian Payment Services Act (ZaDiG), which is the transformation of the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD) into Austrian law.
